Are Scently fragrances safe?

At Scently, we take pride in carefully selecting each and every fragrance we offer.

We ensure:

This means we follow the strictest safety guidelines in the industry. We only offer fragrances that we would feel comfortable using in our own homes :)

What should I do if oil gets on my skin?

If fragrance oil gets on your skin, wash the area gently with mild soap and lukewarm water, ensuring all traces of the oil and soap are removed. Soothe your skin with a fragrance-free moisturizer, and be vigilant for signs of irritation like redness, itching, or swelling.

Seek medical advice if severe irritation or allergic reactions occur.

What should I do if the oil splashes my eye?

If fragrance oil splashes into your eye, remove your contact lenses (if wearing) and immediately rinse with lukewarm water for 15 minutes. Avoid rubbing and agitating the eye.

Seek medical help if irritation persists or if there are any vision changes.

How do I know if my AC is compatible?

If you have a standard filter and enough space to place The Rocket diffuser in a stable spot where the air is pulled in strongest, it will work well. For easy reference, the Rocket diffuser is comparable in size to a 2L soda bottle.

Feel free to snap some pictures and share them with us at hello@scently.us. We'll gladly assist in determining compatibility for your specific HVAC setup.

Ensure your pictures show the following:

  1. Your filter location
  2. The area where you believe the air intake is the strongest - this may be an intake vent on your ceiling

I can't smell anything...

Uh-oh, let's see why that may be. Take a look at our most common troubleshooting solutions below:

(1) Check to see if your system has its fan set to on or auto. If it is set to auto, you should change it to be on. You can keep your cooling settings the way they are.

Having the system fan being on is just like having a ceiling fan on. Doesn't use much electricity, but allows the scent to be spread evenly throughout while maintaining your current cooling settings.

(2)ย It definitely takes time for the absorbent cotton of the Rocket to become saturated enough for your a/c to begin pulling in the scent. To speed this process up, you can manually press the bottle down as many times as you'd like (we recommend 25x).

(3)ย Confirm that The Rocket was placed where the air intake is the strongest. That is crucial! Please share photos of the diffuser's placement (showing the area around the product too) and we'll be happy to take a look.

Swapping your scent is SIMPLE!

Tap the link from your initial subscription confirmation or use our portal login page to access your subscriptions.

Once in your portal, navigate to the item you wish to swap and select 'swap' from the dropdown menu.

Then, simply choose a different scent. Any price changes will be reflected for your next shipment.

What is Scently's return policy?

Weโ€™re confident that youโ€™ll love our products! With that being said, returns areย onlyย accepted in the rare case of a manufacturing defect or an error on our part.

Unless noted otherwise, all items are final sale. This means that once an order is placed, there are no refunds. We know this is not an ideal policy, but hope youโ€™ll still give our products a shot!

Are there exchanges?

Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges at this time.

However, if you're subscribed to a scent and want to change it, you can easily swap your scent selection for your next shipment by visiting your subscription management portal. If you'd like for it to arrive sooner than your next shipment date, simply change the date of your next shipment.

My order arrived damaged...

We take pride in packaging our products carefully to prevent damage. In the rare event of an item arriving defective, please reach out to us within 3 days of delivery and we'll be glad to assist. Be sure to snap some photos of how it arrived.
